Glasgow's food scene is thriving and as you would expect there is a huge number of places to eat, whatever your cuisine of choice. 

The Finnieston district, Byers Road and the city end of Great Western Road (all in the city's picturesque West End) have a surfeit of cafes, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries, as do the Shawlands and Victoria Road areas in the Southside of the city.
